Cyber Monday and staying on process
This is the time of year when people are in buying mode. This is the perfect time to get ahead in your sales and make some fat stacks. A cautionary note, however, don't allow the hype to take you off your process.
If you are like many of us who sell a product for a corporation, it is likely that your company is offering discounts, promotions and special incentives right now to capitalize on cyber Monday and the shopping season. These sales and incentives can be a great way to get your prospects attention and add urgency and excitement to your sales presentation, but this is also a perfect time to remind ourselves of the importance of our sales process.
Incentives are wonderful, but they should never be used in place of putting in the work to build value in your product during your sales presentation. On a day like today, your pitches will likely be a bit shorter, and condensing your process is certainly just fine when you're doing everything you can to get to as many prospects as possible, but don't skip steps and don't take short cuts, in the end the process is there to keep you on track and to help you make a higher volume of large sales.
A special announcement! Soon there will be a full course on developing and mastering your own reliable, repeatable sales process available here on this site! In the mean time, if you feel that you could benefit from some one on one support in developing your personal sales process, then it's time to book your coaching.
Enjoy your cyber Monday and go make some fat stacks!
